The 3YV is committed to getting your collegiate lifestyle apparel and accessories to you quickly and safely. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, rates, delivery timeframes, and procedures for damaged or lost packages.

## 2. Shipping Rates

### 2.1 Domestic Shipping (United States)

**Standard Shipping:**
- Order Total: All Orders
- Shipping Cost: FREE on orders over $75; $8.95 on orders under $75
- Delivery Time: 5-7 business days
- Carrier: USPS, UPS, or FedEx (at our discretion)

**Express Shipping:**
- Shipping Cost: $19.95
- Delivery Time: 2-3 business days
- Carrier: UPS or FedEx 2-Day

**Overnight Shipping:**
- Shipping Cost: $34.95
- Delivery Time: 1 business day (next day by 5 PM)
- Carrier: UPS or FedEx Overnight

### 2.2 International Shipping

We currently ship to select countries. International shipping rates are calculated based on:

- Destination country and region
- Package weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected
- Current carrier rates

International shipping rates are displayed at checkout before purchase confirmation.

**International Delivery Times:**
- Standard International: 10-21 business days
- Expedited International: 5-10 business days
- Express International: 3-5 business days

### 2.3 Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories are available via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail Express only.

**Shipping Costs:**
- Standard: $15.95 (7-10 business days)
- Express: $29.95 (3-5 business days)

## 3. Shipping Address Requirements

### 3.1 Valid Address Information

To ensure successful delivery, your shipping address must include:

- Recipient name
- Street address (no PO boxes for UPS/FedEx deliveries)
- City, State, ZIP code
- Daytime phone number
- For international orders: Valid country and postal code

### 3.2 Address Changes

If you need to change your shipping address, contact us immediately at [your email]. Requests must be received within 2 hours of order placement. We cannot guarantee address changes after that time.

### 3.3 PO Boxes

We can ship to PO boxes via USPS only. We cannot deliver to PO boxes via UPS or FedEx.

- **Standard Processing:** Orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days of order placement
- **Business Days:** Monday-Friday, excluding holidays
- **Holiday Schedule:** During peak seasons (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas), processing may take 3-5 business days
- **Backorders:** Items marked as "backorder" will ship separately when available

Upon order placement, you will receive:

1. Order Confirmation Email: Sent immediately after purchase
2. Shipping Notification: Sent when order ships with tracking number
3. Delivery Confirmation: Sent when carrier confirms delivery

- Tracking numbers are provided via email when your order ships
- Track your package through the carrier's website using your tracking number
- Estimated delivery dates are provided but are not guaranteed
- Actual delivery may vary based on carrier schedules

## 5. Shipping Carriers

We use the following carriers for shipping:

- **USPS (United States Postal Service):** Typically for orders under 1 lb or to PO boxes
- **UPS (United Parcel Service):** For standard and expedited ground shipping
- **FedEx:** For express and overnight deliveries
- **International Carriers:** DHL, USPS, or other services for international orders

The 3YV selects the most cost-effective and reliable carrier based on package weight, destination, and delivery timeframe.

## 6. Delivery Timeframes

### 6.1 Timeframe Estimates

Delivery timeframes begin from the order's ship date, not order date:

- Order Date: When you complete your purchase
- Processing Time: 1-2 business days
- Shipping Time: Transit time based on selected method
- Delivery Date: Estimated arrival at your address

Example: Standard Shipping order placed Monday = processing Tuesday, ships Wednesday = delivery Monday-Tuesday

### 6.2 Delays and Exceptions

Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. The 3YV is not liable for delays caused by:

- Carrier delays or transportation issues
- Weather or natural disasters
- Holiday schedules or carrier congestion
- Customs delays for international orders
- Incorrect or incomplete address information
- Recipient unavailability

## 7. Shipping Costs and Payment

### 7.1 Shipping Payment

Shipping costs are:

- Calculated at checkout
- Based on order weight, dimensions, and destination
- Added to your order total before payment
- Non-refundable unless order is cancelled before shipment

### 7.2 Shipping Discounts

- **Free Shipping:** Automatically applied to domestic orders over $75
- **Promotional Offers:** Additional shipping discounts may be available (check email for updates)
- **Bundle Pricing:** Multi-item orders ship at reduced rates based on dimensional weight

## 8. Multiple Item Orders

### 8.1 Shipment of Multiple Items

- Items in your order may ship from multiple warehouses and arrive separately
- Each shipment will have its own tracking number
- Multiple items may consolidate into a single shipment
- Shipping costs are calculated for the entire order, not per item

### 8.2 Split Shipments

If your order contains items from different locations:

- You will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment
- Items may arrive on different dates
- Tracking information will be sent for each shipment

## 9. Backorders and Out-of-Stock Items

### 9.1 Backorder Policy

If an item is on backorder:

- You will be notified at checkout
- The order will be split with backorder items shipping separately
- We will provide an estimated ship date for backorder items
- You may cancel backorder items without penalty

### 9.2 Extended Backorders

If a backorder item is unavailable for more than 30 days:

- We will offer a substitute item of equal or greater value
- You may request a refund for the backorder item
- We will notify you of options via email

## 10. Damaged or Lost Packages

### 10.1 Damaged Packages

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

1. **Do Not Discard:** Keep the item, packaging, and all materials
2. **Document Damage:** Take photos of the damage and packaging
3. **Report Immediately:** Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
4. **Provide Information:** Include order number, photos, and description

### 10.2 Our Response to Damage Claims

- We will investigate the damage claim with the carrier
- Replacement items ship at no cost
- Alternatively, a full refund (including original shipping) will be issued
- Original shipping charges are refunded for carrier-caused damage

### 10.3 Lost Packages

If your package doesn't arrive:

1. **Wait for Scheduled Delivery:** Carriers occasionally deliver late; wait for estimated delivery date to pass
2. **Contact Carrier:** Check tracking status with the carrier
3. **Contact Us:** If package is marked delivered but not received, email [your email] within 7 days
4. **Investigation:** We will investigate with the carrier (typically 5-10 business days)
5. **Resolution:** Once confirmed lost, we will replace the item or issue a full refund

### 10.4 Signature Required Deliveries

Some orders may require signature upon delivery. If you're not available:

- Arrange redelivery through carrier
- Contact The 3YV if you need assistance

## 11. Returns Shipping

### 11.1 Return Shipping Labels

- Return shipping labels are provided for approved returns
- Labels are prepaid; you will not pay to ship returns
- Labels will be provided in your return authorization email

### 11.2 Return Shipping Address

All returns should be shipped to the address provided in your return authorization. Do not send returns to any other address.

### 11.3 International Return Shipping

- International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Contact us before returning international orders
- Some international returns may not be accepted

## 12. International Shipping Details

### 12.1 Customs and Duties

For international orders:

- Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes
- Duties are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery
- We cannot predict or control customs fees

We will accurately declare all package contents on customs forms. The 3YV is not responsible for delays or issues caused by customs inspection.

### 12.3 Restricted Countries

We do not ship to certain countries due to restrictions. A complete list is available upon request.

## 13. Special Shipping Requests

### 13.1 Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping service is not currently available. However, we will:

- Not include pricing information in the package
- Include a gift message if requested
- Use neutral packaging upon request

### 13.2 Specific Delivery Instructions

Specific delivery instructions (e.g., "leave at door," "side entrance") should be:

- Provided in the order notes at checkout
- Communicated to the carrier through their website
- Left on your address's delivery location (if possible)

We cannot guarantee carriers will follow special instructions.

The 3YV is NOT responsible for:

- Weather or natural disasters
- Customs delays
- Recipient unavailability
- Incorrect address information provided by customer
- Lost or stolen packages once delivered to address
- Delays due to carrier strikes or labor actions

### 14.3 Delivery Confirmation

Packages marked as delivered by the carrier are considered delivered. If you believe a package was delivered in error:

- Search your property (porch, side, mailbox)
- Check with household members
- Contact the carrier to confirm delivery location
- Report to us within 7 days with evidence

## 15. Shipping to Business Addresses

Shipping to business addresses is available for:

- Corporate offices
- Business locations
- Hotels or travel accommodations

Note that business addresses may have restricted delivery hours or require signature.
